An analysis of the discrepancies between the Greek Septuagint (LXX) and the Masoretic Text (MT) concerning prophecies in Daniel 9:24-27, particularly about the Messiah, indicate corruptions were deliberately made to prophecies in the MT to minimize their fulfilment in Jesus Christ. This affects interpretations of Christ's role in destroying Temple worship in 70 AD.
