This morning I come to check on my TM progress (daily BU), which will only run when the machine is "awake", and found the status was 2 days (screenshot), normally less than 30 minutes. So I opted for skip BU, and then manually re-started the BU, which was then completed in 10 minutes!!

Thoughts, or just a one-off.

I have several docs I saved in Pages. When I went to open a few none of them were there. I tried to open them while in Pages.
Any suggestions appreciated. Perhaps I can re-install them while in Time Machine but I'll need help doing that. Thank you.

I know about the problems with doing it, but mine are a bit difficult to insert.

Hello. Happend yesterday.

Went to download something from Itunes store (using high sierra), and got an error message saying that it either couldn't download the music, or there was a problem in the Itunes Store, pleas try again later (or some variant of it). Can't even seem to log in, because when I sucessfully enter my information i don't get an error, but in the drop down menu the sign in option isn't greyed out, as if I never sucessfully signed into the account.

I have a MacBook Air M4 using Sequoia 15.8.1. Recently, if the charger is plugged in, after the set amount of time in System Settings - Lock Screen the computer will require a password to enable Touch ID. That's fine.

But, if on Battery (charger not plugged in), I can leave the computer alone for hours or days- lid open or closed. It never requires a password to enable Touch ID. Sometimes it wants Touch ID & that works. Other times, even after a day, it won't ask for anything. The...

I'm trying to put a music library on a flash drive so I can use it in my 2013 F 150. I transferred some to an old Pendrive that was laying around and it works in the truck but the sound quality is not there. So I purchased a new top rated Samsung (USB 3.1) and it is very quick downloading and sounds great on my Mac. Problem is my truck does not recognize it. Is it because my truck is too old?

My wife's 2011 iMac's hard drive has crashed. I have an external SSD and have tried to erase it formatting to MacOS Extended (Journaled) and set Scheme to GUID Partition Map as recommended by Apple but it comes up with a message to say that erase has failed.
