Ukrainian drones wipe out entire US tank brigade in live war game
Ukrainian drone teams demolished a brigade of US Army tanks and armored vehicles during a live war game held this year—but the US soldiers were lucky enough to get “respawn” attempts while learning from the experience.
The semiannual military exercise, called Combined Resolve, gave the US military a firsthand taste of how modern drone warfare has evolved on the battlefields of Ukraine. The Ukrainian drone operators participating in the exercise were easily able to spot and destroy US armored vehicles by mimicking the actions of dropping bombs from above or moving close enough to simulate a kamikaze strike, according to US officials and a participant who spoke with The Wall Street Journal.
US armored vehicles were being destroyed so quickly that they were “respawned” and sent back into the simulated fray, a US official told The Wall Street Journal. The US troops who participated in the exercise—held in Germany from April 9 to May 10—were on rotational deployment from Fort Hood, Texas.

Russian drones found near vital European offshore gas site, get blown up
Romanian army divers used explosives to destroy two Russian-made drones found floating in the Black Sea near Romania’s largest natural gas project, according to the NATO member country’s defense minister.
Defense Minister Radu Miruță posted a Facebook video supposedly showing one of the drones being blown up in the water by explosive ordnance disposal divers of the Romanian army on August 11, as reported by Reuters and other news outlets. The drones were first spotted in the water by a ship working in the vicinity of the Neptun Deep—an offshore gas project under development in the Black Sea that will make Romania the largest gas producer in the European Union.
A Romanian Coast Guard ship that responded with army soldiers aboard found two drifting Gerbera-type drones of Russian design along with other debris. Miruță also disclosed that Romania had reached out to “Ukrainian partners who confirmed that the systems do not belong to them.”

HQD SiSA 80K Hookah Disposable Vape Review: A New Era of High-Puff Hookah-Style Vaping
The disposable vape market continues to evolve, with manufacturers moving beyond traditional compact devices and introducing products designed to deliver longer-lasting performance, larger vapor production, and a more immersive experience. The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah Disposable Vape is one of the latest high-capacity devices aiming to combine the convenience of disposable vaping with the social-style experience of hookah.
Designed for users who enjoy rich flavor, dense vapor, and extended usage, the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah focuses on three major areas:
- Extremely long-lasting puff capacity
- Hookah-inspired vaping experience
- Convenient rechargeable disposable design
In this review, we take a closer look at the design, features, performance, and overall experience of the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah Disposable Vape.
HQD SiSA 80K Hookah Disposable Vape Overview
Traditional disposable vapes are usually designed for portability, but the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah takes a different approach. It focuses on delivering a larger and more relaxed vaping experience similar to an electronic hookah.
The device is designed for users who want:
- Longer usage time
- Bigger vapor production
- Smooth direct-to-lung (DTL) draws
- Less frequent replacement
HQD has expanded its hookah-style product lineup with devices focused on large-capacity cartridges, adjustable airflow, and rechargeable batteries. For example, HQD’s SHISHA series features refillable cartridge designs, adjustable airflow, mesh coil technology, and large battery capacities aimed at a hookah-style experience.
Design and Build Quality: Hookah Style Meets Modern Disposable Design
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah features a larger body compared with traditional disposable vapes.
Instead of a slim pocket-style design, it adopts a more substantial form factor inspired by modern electronic hookahs.
The design focuses on:
- Comfortable mouthpiece
- Large vapor airflow
- Premium appearance
- Easy operation
The larger structure allows space for:
- High-capacity e-liquid storage
- Larger battery
- Advanced coil technology
Compared with small disposable devices, the bigger body also helps create a more satisfying hookah-style experience.
80,000 Puff Capacity: Built for Long-Term Use
The biggest highlight of the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah is its ultra-high puff rating.
With up to 80,000 puffs, the device is designed for extended use compared with traditional disposable vapes.
A high puff capacity means users can enjoy:
- Longer replacement cycles
- Fewer interruptions
- Better value for frequent users
This makes the device suitable for:
- Heavy vape users
- Long trips
- Social gatherings
- Users who prefer fewer replacements
However, actual puff numbers can vary depending on:
- Puff duration
- Airflow settings
- Usage habits
- Battery management
Flavor Performance: Rich Hookah-Style Vapor Experience
Flavor quality is one of the most important factors in a hookah-style vape.
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah is designed to provide:
- Dense vapor clouds
- Smooth airflow
- Rich flavor output
The device uses advanced coil technology to improve vapor consistency and flavor reproduction. HQD’s newer hookah-style devices commonly use mesh coil systems to create fuller vapor and layered flavor performance.
Compared with standard disposable vapes, hookah-style devices typically aim for:
- A deeper inhale
- Larger vapor production
- More relaxed sessions
This makes them closer to a traditional hookah experience rather than a quick nicotine break.
Battery Performance and Charging
A major limitation of many disposable vapes is battery life.
Because the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah is designed for a very high puff count, it requires a rechargeable battery system.
Benefits include:
- Longer usable lifespan
- Reduced waste compared with traditional single-use devices
- More consistent power output
USB Type-C charging is becoming standard across modern HQD rechargeable devices, providing faster and more convenient charging. HQD’s rechargeable disposable products commonly use Type-C charging systems for improved usability.
Users can recharge the device when needed and continue enjoying the remaining e-liquid capacity.
Airflow and Vaping Experience
The hookah-style design focuses heavily on airflow.
A good airflow system helps deliver:
- Smooth inhalation
- Cooler vapor
- Larger clouds
- More comfortable long sessions
Compared with traditional mouth-to-lung disposable vapes, hookah-style devices usually provide a more open draw.
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah is designed for users who prefer:
- Direct-to-lung vaping
- Bigger clouds
- A smoother inhale
Ease of Use: Simple Disposable Experience
One of the biggest advantages of disposable-style devices is convenience.
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah requires:
- No coil replacement
- No complicated settings
- No manual e-liquid filling
Users can simply:
- Open the package
- Activate the device
- Start vaping
This makes it suitable for beginners who want a simple experience without maintaining a traditional vape kit.
HQD SiSA 80K Hookah vs Traditional Disposable Vape
| Feature | HQD SiSA 80K Hookah | Standard Disposable Vape |
|---|---|---|
| Puff Capacity | Up to 80,000 puffs | Usually much lower |
| Design | Large hookah-style body | Compact |
| Vapor Production | Large clouds | Moderate |
| Battery | Rechargeable | Often smaller |
| Experience | Relaxed hookah-style vaping | Quick daily use |
| Maintenance | Simple | Simple |
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah is clearly designed for users who prioritize endurance and vapor production rather than maximum portability.
Who Should Buy the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah?
The device may appeal to users who want:
Extremely long-lasting performance
Large vapor production
Hookah-inspired experience
Rechargeable convenience
Fewer replacements
It may not be ideal for users who prefer:
- Small pocket-sized devices
- Minimal vapor output
- Highly discreet vaping
Final Verdict
The HQD SiSA 80K Hookah Disposable Vape represents the next generation of high-capacity vaping devices.
Instead of focusing only on portability, it combines:
- Massive puff capacity
- Rechargeable power
- Hookah-inspired airflow
- Rich vapor production
- Simple disposable operation
For users looking for a long-lasting device with a more immersive vaping experience, the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah offers a unique alternative to traditional disposable vapes.
As the disposable vape market continues moving toward higher-capacity and rechargeable designs, products like the HQD SiSA 80K Hookah show how manufacturers are attempting to blend convenience with a more premium experience.

Did Sugar Help Build the Human Brain? New Research Challenges the Meat-Driven Evolution Theory
Scientists have theorized for decades about how the human brain evolved and grew dramatically in size. Now, new research points to one common ingredient that may have played a crucial role in the brain’s evolution over time: sugar.
A research team at the University of Sydney and the University of Glasgow created a model comparing modern nutrition with that of our ancestors over a span of four million years. The findings suggest that our ancestors relied on naturally occurring carbohydrate-rich foods, which could have played an important role in not only their overall dietary nutrition but also the evolution of the human brain.
These new findings challenge an older scientific model that emphasizes meat as a primary driving force behind human evolution.
“Raw starch does not release glucose, meaning early humans likely relied on naturally sweet foods long before grains became a regular part of the diet,” said lead author Professor Jennie Brand-Miller, Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of Sydney Charles Perkins Center and School of Life and Environmental Sciences, in a statement.
While meat played a role in our ancestors’ diets, the new research suggests that the amount of energy required by a growing brain also needs to be considered. Throughout human evolution, brain size increased from roughly 300 grams in early hominins to approximately 1,500 grams in modern humans. Glucose is the brain’s primary energy source, creating increasing nutritional demands as brain size grew over time.
“While animal foods were important, the brain’s need for glucose has largely received little attention from anthropologists,” Professor Brand-Miller said.
The Research
To better understand this hypothesis, the team created a model encompassing six evolutionary stages. Researchers estimated the “obligatory glucose demand” of the brain and other glucose-dependent tissues, including red blood cells, kidneys, and reproductive tissues. They then compared these glucose requirements with the carbohydrate sources that would have been readily available to humans during different stages of evolution.
“The human brain is unusually large for our body size and requires substantial amounts of energy,” Professor Brand-Miller said. “Glucose is the brain’s primary energy source, and for much of human evolution, would have come from carbohydrates found in foods such as fruit and honey.”
The model incorporated evidence from numerous fields, including metabolism, food composition, fossil isotope studies, dental morphology, archaeology, primate diets, and genetics.
Overall, the research suggests that early hominins, including Australopithecus, Homo habilis, and Homo erectus, were highly dependent on carbohydrate-rich foods, with fruit representing an important source. Later, as humans began using fire to cook food, starch-rich plants could also provide significant amounts of glucose. Grains, meanwhile, appear to have entered the human diet much later. The researchers point to archaeological evidence of seed grinding dating to around 65,000 years ago.
“People often think of carbohydrates as breads and cereals, but for most of human evolution carbohydrates came from fruits, honey and underground plant foods,” said Professor Brand-Miller. “The earliest evidence of seed grinding is 65,000 years ago, when we see the first evidence of grinding stones to make flour.”
The study also examined the role of glucose in reproduction and pregnancy. Pregnancy and lactation significantly increase glucose demands, since energy is required not only by the mother but also by the developing fetus and placenta, as well as for milk production.
The new findings may also help explain humans’ longstanding attraction to sweet foods. For much of human evolution, naturally sweet foods such as fruit and honey provided concentrated sources of energy while also supplying fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.
That doesn’t mean people should start making a run for the candy aisle. The findings do not suggest that modern humans should consume more refined sugar. Instead, the researchers distinguish between naturally occurring sugars found in whole foods and highly processed foods containing large quantities of added sugar.
Sugar was also not the human brain’s only source of fuel, nor were carbohydrates the sole dietary factor influencing human evolution. Rather, the researchers argue that glucose requirements have often received less attention than other dietary factors, including meat, fat, and protein. Our ancient appetite for naturally sweet, carbohydrate-rich foods, however, may have helped fuel the extraordinary expansion of the human brain.
