x64 port of Microsoft Word for Windows 1.1a arrives — you can now run this seminal 1990 word processor natively in Windows 11

9 August 2026 at 14:40

A developer has ported Microsoft Word for Windows 1.1a to x64 so it can now run natively on Windows 11 PC systems. JMarshall23 on GitHub stresses that this is a fully working native Windows x64 port using “original Word source and resources together with modern replacements for the 16-bit assembly, segmented-memory, and Win16 platform boundaries.” It also includes some extra features for “research purposes.” Microsoft Word for Windows 1.1a was originally released over a quarter of a century ago.

This release of Word marked a milestone in the word processing market, as it pioneered genuinely useful feature additions like WYSIWYG editing, graphics, and table insertion on Windows. It would spearhead the momentum in shifting users from DOS productivity monsters like WordPerfect to complete dominance in Windows-land. Word for Windows 1.1a added all its frills while remaining very efficient, running on systems with CPUs that ran in single-figure MHz speeds, and with as little as 1MB of RAM.

Another notable feature of this version of Word for Windows is that Microsoft permitted its source code to be released in full. You can still grab that code via the Computer History Museum (CHM). There you will find a 7MB bundle of C source, x86 assembly, build tools, and documentation. These 1,021 files in 33 folders are what JMarshall23 started with.

GitHub doesn’t have Windows x64 binaries ready for the casually curious on the lookout for a free, lightweight word processor to download and use. Instead, you’ll need access to Visual Studio 2022 with Desktop development with C++, a Windows 10 or Windows 11 SDK installed through Visual Studio, CMake 3.25 or newer, and PowerShell, notes Marshall. Then simply follow the GitHub instructions to build and run Word1.

It will be interesting to see if more comes from this x64 port, but Microsoft’s Word for Windows 1.1a code release carries a license that “permits only non-commercial use and does not give you the right to license it to third parties by posting copies elsewhere on the web,” says the CHM.

iQOO Z11S Reportedly Launching This Month With Dimensity 7500 Turbo Chip

9 August 2026 at 14:26

Igeekphone News August 8, 2026 — iQOO is reportedly preparing to expand its Z-series lineup with a new smartphone, the iQOO Z11S, which could debut later this month. The upcoming device has recently appeared in Geekbench and is said to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500-series chipset, potentially offering a performance-focused upgrade over the existing Z11.

According to a report from Igeekphone, a new vivo smartphone carrying the model number V2603A was recently spotted in the Geekbench database. The device has also passed China’s 3C certification and is listed with support for 44W wired fast charging.

iQOO Z11S Could Launch in August

Chinese tech blogger @ExperienceMore has reportedly identified the V2603A as the upcoming iQOO Z11S. The tipster claims that iQOO plans to officially launch the smartphone sometime in August 2026.

The Z11S is expected to use either the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 or Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The exact processor configuration has not yet been officially confirmed, so the final retail version could differ from the current leaked information.

The new smartphone may also be unveiled alongside the rumored iQOO Neo 11 Supreme Edition, potentially making August an important month for iQOO’s product lineup.

Geekbench and Charging Details

The appearance of the V2603A on Geekbench provides an early indication that the iQOO Z11S is moving closer to launch.

While the available benchmark information does not reveal the complete hardware configuration, certification data confirms that the phone supports 44W fast charging. This would position the Z11S as a mid-range performance smartphone with a relatively balanced approach to charging and processing power.

More detailed specifications, including its display, camera system, battery capacity, memory configurations, and global availability, have yet to be confirmed.

How Does It Compare With the iQOO Z11?

The iQOO Z11 was launched in China on March 26, 2026, with the full-spec Dimensity 8500 processor. At launch, its introductory price started at 1,999 yuan, while the standard retail price began at 2,299 yuan.

The Z11S could therefore serve as a more affordable or differently positioned member of the Z11 family. However, if it uses the Dimensity 7500 Turbo rather than the Dimensity 8500, it would not necessarily represent a direct performance upgrade.

Instead, iQOO may be positioning the Z11S as a model that balances performance, efficiency, and price, particularly for users who do not need the higher-end processing capabilities of the standard Z11.

iQOO Z11 With Dimensity 7500 Turbo Also Heading to India

Interestingly, iQOO has also begun promoting the Indian version of the Z11, which is expected to feature the Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset.

According to the company’s recent promotional materials, the Indian Z11 is designed to deliver improved performance for AI applications and multitasking. The device is reportedly scheduled to launch in India on August 20, 2026.

This suggests that iQOO may use the Dimensity 7500 Turbo more broadly across different markets, although the specifications and branding of regional variants could vary.

What to Expect From the iQOO Z11S

If the latest reports are accurate, the iQOO Z11S could become one of iQOO’s notable mid-range releases for the second half of 2026. Its combination of a Dimensity 7500-series chipset and 44W charging indicates a focus on everyday performance rather than flagship-level hardware.

For international buyers, however, the key question will be whether the Z11S launches outside China. iQOO frequently uses different configurations and product names across markets, so the specifications of any potential global version could differ from the Chinese model.

At this stage, iQOO has not officially confirmed the Z11S launch date, processor, or complete specifications. More information should emerge as the rumored August launch approaches.

iQOO Z11S: Expected Specifications

  • Model: iQOO Z11S
  • Expected launch: August 2026
  • Reported model number: V2603A
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7500 / Dimensity 7500 Turbo
  • Fast charging: 44W
  • Certification: China 3C
  • Geekbench: Listed in the database
  • Possible launch partner: iQOO Neo 11 Supreme Edition
  • Global availability: Not confirmed

Final Thoughts

The reported iQOO Z11S appears to be shaping up as a performance-oriented mid-range smartphone with a Dimensity 7500-series platform and 44W fast charging. Its potential August launch, combined with the rumored iQOO Neo 11 Supreme Edition and the upcoming Indian Z11, could make the next few weeks particularly busy for iQOO.

Until the company makes an official announcement, the processor, pricing, specifications, and international availability of the iQOO Z11S should be treated as unconfirmed information.

Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition Review: Extra cool

8 August 2026 at 14:08

There are plenty of ultra-lightweight gaming mice in our best gaming mice picks — but there aren't any that have a built-in hand cooler.

Pulsar recently released a collaboration with infamous air-cooling advocate Noctua — a beige and brown mouse full of top-tier hardware and holes and a built-in 40mm NF-A4x10 fan. For cooling your hand, not the hardware. This eSports-oriented gaming mouse features Pulsar's XS-2 sensor, which has a maximum resolution of 42,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 800 IPS, and can handle up to 70 G's of force. It also features up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate, and, of course, the built-in fan. It retails for the same price as the original Feinmann F01 gaming mouse, which is to say, it's pretty pricey at $179.99.

Design and Comfort of the F01 Noctua Edition

The F01 Noctua Edition is a lightweight wireless eSports gaming mouse with an ergonomic right-handed shape and a hole-filled chassis with a built-in fan. It comes in Noctua's signature beige-and-brown color scheme: The top part of the chassis is light beige, while the bottom and accents (side buttons, scroll wheel, Noctua's logo plate, and some interior elements) are brown.

The F01 Noctua Edition has a right-handed, ergonomic shape with contoured primary mouse buttons and an off-center hump. It's a little smaller than most mainstream gaming mice, measuring 4.79 inches (121.7mm) long by 2.62 inches (66.5mm) wide and 1.7 inches (43.3mm) high at its thickest point. It weighs 2.57 ounces (73g), which is on the heavier side for what is supposed to be an ultra-lightweight eSports mouse. It's about an ounce heavier than the regular Pulsar Feinmann F01, which weighs 1.62 ounces (46g), thanks to the built-in fan.

The mouse features a matte chassis made of a carbon composite material for durability. The chassis is full of holes, but at least they serve a purpose (sort of) other than reducing weight and triggering your trypophobia: they're also there to keep your hand cool. In the center of the mouse you'll see a mini Noctua fan that directs air upward — toward your palm. You can activate this fan by holding down both side buttons and scrolling up. There are four different fan speeds, indicated by the small LED indicator light on the left side of the mouse, which you can cycle through by scrolling up or down with both. Holding down both buttons and scrolling down turns the fan off.

Button-wise, it's pretty standard: primary mouse buttons, two side buttons, a power button / DPI switch on the bottom, and a ridged, notched scroll wheel made of aluminum alloy. The mouse feels sturdy and the metal scroll wheel makes it seem a little fancier — it definitely looks and feels pretty premium. I did think the side buttons felt like they were placed a little too far back, but after comparing the F01 Noctua Edition with other mice, the actual issue is that the side buttons are larger than average — and this results in the back button sitting further back on the chassis. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but I found it mildly uncomfortable.

The bottom of the mouse features two large PTFE mouse feet at the top and bottom, as well as a strip of PTFE around the sensor. There are five geometric cutouts surrounding the sensor, as well as the power button / DPI switch.

The mouse comes with a separate 8K polling dongle, which has two buttons (a programmable profile switch button and a DPI switch), and a 6-foot (1.8m) detachable, braided USB-C to USB-A cable. Both the dongle and the cable come in Noctua's signature colors (the dongle is brown and the cable has a beige fabric covering with brown accents).

Performance of the F01 Noctua Edition

The F01 Noctua Edition mouse features Pulsar's XS-2 optical sensor, which has a maximum resolution of 42,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 800 IPS, and can handle up to 70 G's of force. The mouse also features Pulsar's optical switches in its primary buttons (rated for up to 100 million clicks), and can get up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate. The sensor doesn't disappoint — its tracking was accurate and speedy in my tests, and it worked perfectly across a variety of surfaces (including glass). The only thing I can see affecting performance in this mouse is its weight — it's not heavy, but it's heavier than most of its competition.

As I mentioned earlier, at 73g the mouse is on the heavy side for an ultra-lightweight eSports mouse — and it's an entire ounce heavier than the fan-less version. I guess that makes sense considering... there's a fan inside it, but still. If you're looking for an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse and you're not particularly intrigued by the fan, there are lighter, cheaper mice out there, such as my favorite Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro, which weighs 56g and costs $169.99.

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about the fan — I'm not really a person who suffers from sweaty palms while I'm gaming, however, so I'm aware I'm not the target audience. But as someone who is not the target audience, I have to say that the fan is actually pretty cool (pun intended). It's small, yes, but you can definitely feel it — and even though I don't sweat much, it still felt pretty good. The fan has four speeds, and the first two are practically silent. You can hear the two fastest speeds, but it's not particularly loud — you'll notice it, but those around you probably won't.

Activating the fan using the two side buttons and scroll wheel was easy enough, though the side buttons will activate when you press them, so it's not perfect. You can also turn on and adjust the fan speed in the software and/or you can program one of the buttons on the dongle to cycle through speeds.

If you do get sweaty palms while gaming, or you just happen to live and game in a hot environment, the fan in this mouse definitely works. It takes a toll on battery life, of course, but you can always plug it in. That said, that part of the mouse is practically non-existent, the holes are so big (it's even more full of holes than the Corsair Sabre v2 Pro Wireless MG). The structure of the mouse honestly keeps your hand — or at least your palm — pretty cool, even without a fan.

Features and Software of the F01 Noctua Edition

The F01 Noctua Edition is largely controllable via the hardware, which is nice. The fan can be activated and adjusted by holding down the two side buttons and scrolling, and DPI can be cycled through using the DPI switch button on the bottom of the mouse or the DPI switch button on the wireless dongle. The dongle also has a function button that cycles through onboard profiles by default — so you will need to connect to Pulsar's web-based peripheral software, Bibimbap, if you want to take advantage of this.

With Bibimbap — which you can connect to wirelessly — lets you remap keys (there are five programmable buttons, including the scroll wheel click) and has a built-in macro recorder. You can also adjust various settings, including DPI steps (up to 6), polling rate (ships with 1,000 Hz and goes up to 8,000 Hz), LOD or liftoff distance, and debounce time. You can also turn on the fan from this app, if you want. You can save up to five profiles directly on the mouse and cycle through them with the function button, or you can remap the function button to cycle through polling rate, LOD, debounce time, motion sync, turbo mode, and fan mode. That last one just does the same thing that holding down both mouse buttons and scrolling does, but it doesn't accidentally activate the side button functions.

Wireless Experience and Battery Life of the F01 Noctua Edition

The F01 Noctua Edition features two forms of connectivity: 2.4GHz wireless and wired (via USB-C). It doesn't have any RGB lighting, but it does have a built-in 40mm 5V PWM NF-A4x10 fan with four different speed settings. Oh, and an 8,000 Hz polling rate. Needless to say, its battery life varies quite a bit, depending on how you have it set up. Its built-in battery is 500mAh, which is... well, don't expect much when it comes to battery life. Based on my observations as I tested the mouse, I think you'll still be able to eke out a full day's worth of usage if you have the fan running at top speed, which is not a lot compared to most wireless mice, but not bad, considering.

Bottom Line

The F01 Noctua Edition is a very well-built lightweight gaming mouse, but its main selling point is definitely the built-in fan. And the built-in fan works pretty well — I was definitely impressed, even if I don't see myself using it very often (or at all, really). But if you don't need a mouse with a built-in fan, it's hard to recommend the F01 Noctua Edition over just about any other lighter, more affordable mouse, including Pulsar's own fan-free Feinmann F01. The Corsair Sabre v2 Pro Wireless, for example, weighs just 56g and has a shell full of holes, gets up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate and retails for $149.99.

I wanted to love this weird foldable mouse from Logitech, but its underwhelming ergonomics and performance left me feeling disappointed

Logitech Mobi Fold review

The Logitech Mobi Fold is, without question, the weirdest mouse I have ever used in my life.

This tiny, foldable travel mouse is focused on one thing above all: portability. Just like a clamshell phone from the noughties, it can fold in half, allowing you to easily slip it into your pocket if you’re working on the go. But even though the Logitech Mobi Fold’s exceptional portability is its clear USP, I have to ask… is it actually that necessary?

After all, a lot of mice are already highly compact, and if you’re working on the go, you’ve probably got a bag to hold your laptop or tablet, right? I’d bet that your bag can fit a laptop and a mouse, so arguably, the thing that makes this mouse so special isn’t actually that game-changing.

Still, the Mobi Fold has a few interesting features to run through, and you’re surely curious as to how such a strange model feels in use. So, after using the Logitech Mobi Fold as my main mouse for a few days, here’s how I’d rate it — and whether I think it can compete with the best mice around.

First things first, the Mobi Fold is incredibly easy to get set up. There’s a sync button on it that makes linking up to a windows laptop, Mac, or Android device incredibly seamless. There’s also an easy switch feature, making it incredibly speedy to flick between a range of devices.

But after I got set up with the Mobi Fold, and started using it to get some work done I have to say… it wasn’t amazing.

The Mobi Fold exhibits a few key issues that make it feel inferior to a standard compact or productivity mouse. First of all, it has a slightly bizarre build. Its V-shape form makes it feel awkward to grip, and when using it for extended periods, this caused me to feel some discomfort in my hand. It lacks the ergonomics of my everyday mouse, the Razer Viper V3 Pro, and even lacked its fluidity, meaning moving it across my desk felt clunky.

In addition, the touch-controlled scrolling is a bit inconsistent. It doesn’t provide the same tight control of a traditional mechanical scroll wheel, and again feels a bit lacking in terms of fluidity. Don’t get me wrong: it’s totally functional, but if you want the smooth, precise scrolling of a traditional mouse, the Mobi Fold may leave you wanting more.

My final critique is on the feel of the left and right buttons. While these are serviceable, they felt more stiff than I expected them to, especially towards the back and middle of the model. I did appreciate the muted sound of clicking the left and right buttons, but I wish they felt a bit more sensitive.

Despite all of this, there are some clear positives worth pointing out. First of all, the mouse offers great battery life. It supplies about 22 hours of continuous use, which easily got me through the work week, meaning I didn’t need to charge it at all during the testing period. Having said that, Logitech says that you can get an extra three hours of use from just one minute of charging, making it exceptionally practical for someone like me who often forgets to juice up their devices.

In addition, the Mobi Fold features customizable button controls through the Logi Options+ app. This enables you to adapt pointer speed, set the central touch panel to different functions (like paste, volume controls, or a keyboard shortcut), and more.

In terms of design, I’m also a fan of the rubbery texture of the mouse, which is very pleasant to the touch. It’s also worth noting that 36% of the plastics used in the Graphite colorway of the mouse I used are made from recycled materials. It’s 29% for the Lilac and Off-White variants, which look pretty stylish in my opinion.

Look, the Logitech Mobi Fold does well to stand out from the crowd. Its lightweight and foldable design undoubtedly makes it easy to travel with — even though I’d argue that standard mice are probably portable enough as they are. In addition, the customizable buttons, long battery life, and satisfying feel of the mouse are clear positives.

But for $79.99 / £69.99 / AU$129.95, the Mobi Fold ends up feeling like a relatively poor value for money option. Really, that comes down to one thing: its lackluster performance. With underwhelming ergonomics, as well as slightly stiff scrolling and buttons, the Mobi Fold feels like an idea that’s far more impressive in concept than it is in practice.

Logitech Mobi Fold review: price & release date

  • $79.99 / £69.99 / AU$129.95
  • Released in June 2026
  • Available in four colors

The Logitech Mobi Fold released in June 2026, carrying a list price of $79.99 / £69.99 / AU$129.95. That price means it’s competing in the same price bracket as great models we’ve tested, such as the Keychron M6 8K, but a lot more than our favorite ultra-compact mouse, the Logitech Pop Mouse. It's available in four colors, including Graphite, Off-White, Lilac, and Sand.

Notes

Score

Design

Lightweight and foldable for travel, nice material and color options, but poor ergonomics.

Functional, though clicking feels a bit stiff, touch scroll panel isn’t most precise, and uncomfortable for longer usage sessions.

Value

Simply too expensive for the quality on offer.

2.5/5

Buy it if…

You want something ultra-portable
Perhaps the main attraction of the Mobi Fold is its ultra-compact form factor. If you want something you can slide into your pocket for on-the-go use, it doesn’t get much more convenient than this.

You want a stylish mouse
One thing I won’t deny about the Mobi Fold is that it's pretty stylish. Its foldable design, its enticing color options, and its appealing silicone exterior all work in its favor.

Don’t buy it if…

You want top-tier ergonomics
The slightly odd shape of the Mobi Fold can make it a little awkward to grip and use for longer periods, meaning it's not the best option if you value great ergonomics and comfort.

You’re looking for precise performance
The Mobi Fold uses a touch sensor for scrolling, and it just doesn’t feel as precise as a typical mechanical scroll wheel. Pair that with slightly stiff left and right buttons and its unorthodox feel, and it falls short of some major competitors in its price range.

Logitech Mobi Fold review: also consider

Logitech Pop Mouse
Logitech knocked it out of the park with the Pop Mouse, which is one of our favorite compact models you can buy. With satisfying clicks, good customization options, and easy switching, it's a certified hit — especially when you consider its modest asking price.

Keychron M6 8K
This one’s a little different, but if you have the budget to grab the Mobi Fold, then you may want to consider a model like the Keychron M6 8K instead. It boasts a lightweight feel, 8K polling, fantastic ergonomics, and a feature-rich companion app, making it a brilliant all-rounder.

How I tested the Logitech Mobi Fold

  • Spent days using it as my main mouse
  • Tried out its various features
  • Took on the go to test its travel credentials

I spent multiple days testing the Logitech Mobi Fold, using it as my main mouse in the office and when working from home.

During my time with the Mobi Fold, I used it for general productivity, exhausted its various features, and even took it on the go to assess its on-the-go credentials. I typically had the mouse connected to my Windows PC, but I also tried it out with an Android phone.

More generally, I’ve spent years testing gadgets here at TechRadar, where I serve as an in-house Senior Reviews Writer. I’ve tried out a wide array of computing accessories, such as the Turtle Beach Command Series KB7 keyboard, as well as gaming gear, premium wireless headphones, power banks, and more.

Discover how the UPLIFT Standing Desk V3 4-Leg transformed a traditional home office with exceptional stability, premium craftsmanship, and ergonomic sit-stand functionality.

For many people, a desk is simply a place to put a computer. As long as it holds a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, it gets the job done. That’s exactly how my fiancé’s mother’s husband (Ron) approached his home office for years. Like countless others, he used a traditional manufactured particleboard computer desk that provided a dedicated workspace but little else. It was functional, affordable, and met his needs for everyday productivity.

Over time, however, those hours at the desk began to add up. Whether checking email, browsing the web, managing finances, or simply spending time on the computer, he often remained seated for extended periods. The desk itself wasn’t uncomfortable, but it also wasn’t designed to adapt to the person using it. Sitting in the same position day after day can contribute to stiffness, fatigue, and poor posture, especially when there are few opportunities to change positions throughout the day.

When we had the opportunity to review the UPLIFT Standing Desk V3 4-Leg, we immediately saw it as more than just another piece of office furniture. It was a chance to completely rethink his workspace and replace a traditional fixed-height desk with one designed to promote comfort, flexibility, and long-term ergonomics. The goal wasn’t simply a nicer desk. It was to create a workspace that could better support the amount of time he spends at his computer each day.

The UPLIFT Standing Desk V3 4-Leg is designed for users who want exceptional stability, premium materials, and the freedom to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day. In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the assembly process, build quality, daily use, and whether upgrading from a conventional computer desk to a premium standing desk is a worthwhile investment.

Unboxing and Assembly

Having assembled several UPLIFT desks in the past, including the V3 Standing Desk, the assembly process felt immediately familiar. The desk arrived in multiple well-protected boxes, with the solid walnut butcher block desktop and steel frame packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping.

Because of the desk’s weight, I needed assistance bringing the boxes into the house. Once everything was unpacked, however, I completed nearly the entire assembly by myself. The instructions were easy to follow, the hardware was clearly labeled, and many of the components arrived partially assembled to simplify the process.

From start to finish, assembly took approximately one hour and 42 minutes. The only point where I needed another person was flipping the completed desk upright. Between the 1.5-inch solid walnut desktop and the substantial four-leg frame, this is definitely a two-person task.

To make the desk easier to reposition in the future, I also installed the optional Soft Roll Casters. Given the overall weight of the completed desk, this proved to be a worthwhile addition.

Creating a Better Workspace

Once assembled, we moved everything from his previous desk to the new workspace. His setup is relatively straightforward, consisting of a 32-inch monitor, keyboard, mouse, fiber gateway modem, and various everyday office supplies. His desktop tower remains on a stand beside the desk, while the printer sits on a nearby file cabinet.

Although his workstation isn’t particularly elaborate, the larger work surface immediately made the space feel more organized. There was plenty of room for his computer equipment while still leaving open workspace for paperwork and other daily tasks.

To complete the setup, we added several UPLIFT accessories, including the DuoMount monitor arm, Cup Holder & Tumbler, Writing Desk Pad, FlexMount Cable Manager, and a six-outlet mountable surge protector. Together, these accessories created a cleaner and more organized workspace without adding unnecessary clutter.

Everyday Use

The biggest improvement that Ron has seen wasn’t any single feature. It was how much more substantial the entire workstation felt. He thinks it’s extremely well-built and thanks to the casters, it’s very easy to move. He also really likes the cup holder and the extra outlet box. They are both easy to relocate, which Ron appreciates.

The electric motors were equally impressive. Despite the desk’s size and weight, transitions between sitting and standing were smooth and surprisingly quiet. The Advanced Keypad makes it easy to adjust heights with the press of a button.

The desk is remarkably stable. Whether typing, using the mouse, or raising and lowering the desktop, the four-leg frame remained exceptionally solid. Compared to the manufactured desk it replaced, there was very little movement, giving the entire workspace a premium feel.

The solid walnut butcher block desktop also made a noticeable difference. Beyond its attractive appearance, the thicker work surface adds to the desk’s overall feeling of quality and durability.

Cable Management

One area that often gets overlooked during a desk upgrade is cable management. Using the FlexMount Cable Manager together with the mountable surge protector made organizing the various power and monitor cables surprisingly easy. Once everything was connected, the underside of the desk remained neat and organized, helping the finished workspace look much cleaner than the previous setup.

Standing Throughout the Day

Perhaps the biggest change wasn’t the desk itself but the flexibility it introduced into the daily routine. Instead of remaining seated for hours at a time, he now has the option to alternate between sitting and standing whenever he chooses. Because the desk adjusts quickly and quietly, changing positions takes only a few seconds. That convenience encourages movement throughout the day without interrupting whatever task is at hand.
