Today was a cloudy and rainy day In my part of Florida and I was bored, so I decided to try Tahoe 27 Beta 2. I did a thorough cleaning of my Mac mini, made two SupeDuper clones and Time Machine backup. I'm happy to report the download and installation went as smooth as maple slurple! I'm still working my way through it but so far all seems well. I'm sure some minor glitches may occur along the way, but overall it seems solid.

I'm just curious if any other iMac users, running macOS 15.7.9 Sequoia, are having trouble with a recently released macOS 15.7.9 anmd SuperDuper 4 NOT creating a bootable clone.

Both software updates were recently installed and have been reinstalled, but I cannot get SuperDuper! 4 to create a proper clone.

I switched back to SuperDuper 3, it created a nice new bootable clone just as it always has.

I haven't contacted the developer yet, and I haven't seen much on the web about the new...

The online advice appears to be consistent : you can't edit images in Notes, only in Photos. However, I have a note with a lot of images, and on one of them (I don't remember HOW!) I clicked something that gave me edit options, one of which was to isolate the subject from the background, then resize options.

Now someone may say that I somehow was able to move to Photos from within Notes, and automatically return to Notes once the edits were done. However, if I now go to that note and click...

Unable to turn off my iPad. Since it's frozen I can't state the version, but it's about 3-4 years old at least. Tried a number of different suggestions from the internet and Apple forum with no luck. Appears that all I can do is just swear at it and wait for the battery to die.

Any ideas?

I have a contact that keeps showing as blocked on my iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 26.5. It will block itself any where between 10 minutes to a day or 2. Any thoughts on why it does this? It's always the same contact.

I apologize if this is easy to solve. I've read every article Apple has on the subject and still can't figure it out. In the Menu Bar, there is a crescent moon icon. Today it is filled in with white. When I click it, a box pops up telling me that Focus is on. Somehow Do Not Disturb is involved, as it is "On".

So I have 2 laptops: An Air for work and a Pro for home. I set up I-cloud to maintain the same files on each device. When I enter data, or do an edit on one, it updates instantly on the other. The other day I entered a significant amount of data on one computer. A couple of days later I went in to add more data and everything from the previous entry was gone.

There hasn't been a lot of posting about the new MacBook Neo. Who's purchased one? What do you think of it? Have you found any limitations to what software it can run? Which accessories have you purchased to go with it, and have they worked well?

As the title says, along with iOS 26.6 and Apple Watch 26.6 all of which I've completed successfully. Probably the rest of the Apple devices as well if not now then soon.

My husband and I have iMacs, iPhones, iPads. We've never subscribed to an iCloud plan. We use DropBox for storing many files (I have a large amount because I tested for them in the beginning.
I routinely delete emails when they are not needed, delete sent mails after a few days, etc. I empty the trash almost every day. We store photos in Google Photos and Amazon photos,

Trying to synch my AirPod 3 with an iPhone6 OS 12.5.8. No luck, the iPhone doesn't synch to the AirPods.

Is it because the older version of OS 12.5.8 is just "to old"?

I have a trail camera and it records in .avi, which will not play in iMovies or Quicktime, a quick search of the forum does not come up with anything after 2013. I have downloaded Elmedia Video Player, which works, but was wondering what other forum users use.
