An alternating Al2O3/ZrO2 nanolaminate coating on polymers delivers a record discharged energy density of 8.50 J cm−3 with 96.4% efficiency at 150 °C via synergistic charge-injection blocking, deep trapping, and lateral electric field redistribution.
