A new solar desalination breakthrough turns seawater into drinking water while eliminating brine waste and recovering valuable minerals. Billions of people around the world still do not have reliable access to safe drinking water. According to the United Nations, about 2.2 billion people lack safely managed drinking water services. To meet growing demand, many regions, [...]

My biblical creation model of the solar system expects the presence of icy materials forming the outer planets and celestial bodies. Recent findings of water and ice in bodies like Ceres, and moons of Jupiter and Saturn support this theory, confirming the Genesis account of creation.
God created all space, time, and energy over six ordinary days less than 8,000 years ago. I discuss the physics of the Day 1 of that, with the earth formed from a sphere of water and the creation of all light, including the thermal radiation called the cosmic microwave background.
The fundamental differences between Carbon and Silicon as bases for life are presented. All known life relies on Carbon for energy through processes like photosynthesis, whereas Silicon-based life is impossible. The belief in creating sustainable fuels while eliminating Carbon is contrary to all logic. No Carbon means no life!
Water is essential for life, existing in solid, liquid, and gas states, primarily due to its unique molecular structure (H2O) and the angle of its hydrogen bonds. Found in the habitable zone around stars, Earthβs water supports diverse life and is used by the Creator to explain eternal life.
Investigation reveals regulator let firms off the hook on cleanup bonds despite backlog that will take decades to clear
When Christiaan van Woudenberg moved to Erie, Colorado, in 2007, he never imagined he would become an anti-fracking activist. He simply thought he was buying his dream home β a four-bedroom with a panoramic mountain view, 30 minutes north of downtown Denver.
Then, in 2014, the drilling started. Oil and gas rigs sprang up, some just 800ft (240m) from his bedroom window. The dream turned to nightmare: loud noises rumbled all night long, and the air stank like exhaust. Neighbors started getting headaches and nosebleeds, and Van Woudenberg developed new respiratory issues. He kept his windows shut and worried about his daughters going outside.
Using the spectral data from the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) onboard the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope, astronomers have detected methane on 3I/ATLAS.
