O WhatsApp anunciou hoje três novos recursos para as conversas em grupo, incluindo a menção a todos os membros, melhorias nas enquetes e a possibilidade de criar um novo grupo a partir dos membros de um grupo existente.
Em teste desde o ano passado, a disponibilidade da menção para todos os membros do grupo via mensagem — bastando digitar “@” e selecionar a opção “@todos” para mencionar todos os integrantes de uma determinada conversa — está sendo agora ampliada pelo mensageiro da Meta.

Sobre as enquetes, o WhatsApp agora possibilita definir um horário de encerramento para as votações, além de permitir ocultar a visibilidade da escolha dos votantes para o restante dos membros do grupo, bem como editar as perguntas da enquete por até 15 minutos.
Por fim, mas não menos importante, agora é possível criar novos grupos com uma lista de integrantes importada de um grupo já existente. O WhatsApp exemplifica a praticidade do recurso como uma alternativa para “planejar uma festa surpresa, coordenar os detalhes de um evento ou conversar sobre um assunto específico sem lotar o bate-papo principal”.
Todas essas funcionalidades estão disponíveis para conversas em grupo no WhatsApp no iOS e no Android. Caso algum dos recursos mencionados não esteja disponível para você, vale checar se não há nenhuma atualização do aplicativo disponível na App Store.
Pouco mais de sete meses após descontinuar o modo de voz no então aplicativo do ChatGPT para desktop (atualmente, chamado de ChatGPT Classic), a OpenAI anunciou hoje que a mais nova versão do app do chatbot agora suporta o ChatGPT Voice, alimentado pelo novíssimo e versátil modelo GPT-Live.
Graças a essa versatilidade, o novo modo de voz pode fazer bem mais que apenas conversar. Além de poder ser usado em chats, ele também está integrado ao Work e ao Codex — o que significa que você pode usá-lo para coordenar e acompanhar tarefas, sem usar texto.

Para usar a novidade, é necessário abrir um novo chat ou uma nova tarefa vazia no app e selecionar a opção “Iniciar nova conversa por voz”. As conversas ou tarefas precisam necessariamente ser iniciadas nesse modo — caso contrário, apenas o ditado por voz estará disponível.
O ChatGPT Voice oferece suporte a uma alternância natural entre as falas. Você pode interromper o ChatGPT durante uma resposta, fazer uma pergunta complementar ou mudar de direção. Se o ChatGPT começar a executar uma tarefa, continue falando para verificar o progresso ou orientar o trabalho.
Além disso, a OpenAI destaca que é possível iniciar conversas separadas para conversas mais longas, enviar ao app uma screenshot para apresentar o contexto do que está na tela, bem como usar o recurso pelo Remote do iOS com o iPhone emparelhado ao computador.
O ChatGPT Voice no desktop está sendo disponibilizado gradualmente para os planos Plus, Pro, Business, Edu e Enterprise. Nos dois últimos, há um período inicial de duas semanas com acesso antecipado antes de o recurso ser ativado por padrão.

Snap's new smart glasses are probably the most impressive bit of face-computer technology we've seen. They're not VR-headset huge; they don't have a big charging puck; thanks to Snap's many years of AR lens development, they're likely to have a lot of features right out of the box. Snap is finally launching augmented glasses for the public. Specs, which Snap describes as "a wearable computer built into see-through augmented reality glasses," will cost $2,195. You can preorder a pair of Specs now at specs.com with a $200 refundable deposit, and Snap says they're expected to ship "this fall" in the US, UK, and France.
