Apostasy | After Full Knowledge And Rejection of God’s Son Jesus Christ

1 August 2026 at 00:26
For about 1,400 years from the time of Moses the children of Israel have had the oracles of God in the written law and the prophets. All of those foreshadowed the coming Messiah who the majority of Jews have rejected in Jesus Christ. What does that mean for their salvation?

3,500-Year-Old Hittite β€œStorm God” Crafted from Arsenical Copper Reveals Evidence of Advanced Metalworking Rarely Seen in Tiny Bronze Age Artifacts

31 July 2026 at 15:41

A chance discovery in central Turkey is offering archaeologists a rare glimpse at the remarkable technical skills of one of the most influential civilizations of the ancient world.

The tiny bronze artifact, now on display at the Boğazkây Museum, is a small, seemingly simple figurine depicting an individual fitted with a long, pointed cap. But beyond its unassuming appearance is something far more complex, and which offers an unprecedented look at the advanced metalworking techniques and religious worldview of the Hittites.

Crafted nearly 3,500 years ago, archaeologists believe the figurine represents a Hittite storm god, displaying remarkable craftsmanship for its era. Uncovered by a resident in the Alaca district of Γ‡orum Province, the figurine’s discovery site marks an area that once placed it in the heartland of the ancient Hittite Empire.

Fortunately, rather than being kept as a memento, the rare find was handed over to museum authorities, who have now placed it on display for the first time as one of the newest additions to the museum’s permanent collection.

A Hittite Storm God of Small Proportions

At only around three inches tall, experts determined that the tiny figurine was cast from arsenical copperβ€”a material that was widely implemented during the height of the Bronze Age, although it was rarely preserved in a form conveying such intricacy.

Finding a small artifact from this period that displays such remarkable craftsmanship conveys the level of sophistication of its creator, although that’s only one part of what makes the artifact so unique.

The figurine also displays advanced riveted assembly techniquesβ€”an invention of Hittite metalworkers from the era, as evidenced by mortise sockets and pinholes visible on the artifact’s shoulders and lower garment areas. This indicates that the arms and legs were crafted separately from the main torso and head and were later attached to the body, like how modern action figures and other toys are assembled.

For its time, this was a sophisticated method of construction, demonstrating a remarkable level of engineering precision at very small scales. The resulting artifact is now recognized as one of the smallest Hittite metal figurines ever discovered, displaying 3,500-year-old advanced manufacturing techniques at surprisingly small scales.

A Tiny Artifact Conveying Ancient Beliefs

Going beyond just the technical precision the ancient figurine represents, it also provides insights into the religious beliefs of the Hittites.

β€œIn the Hittite religion, which was polytheistic, our colleagues have described [the artifact] as the Young Storm God,” said Ali Γ‡algan, current Governor of Γ‡orum province in Turkey, at a recent ceremony that revealed the unique discovery.

According to their worldview, the storm god held one of the highest places in their pantheon of deities, given that these sorcerers of the elements could control rain, winds, and the coming of the seasonsβ€”elemental forces that were also associated with fertility and royal authority.

In ancient Anatolia, these storm deities were known by a variety of names, which included Taru, Tarhunza, Teshub, and Tarhuna. Often associated with animals like bulls, physical representations of storm gods were also conveyed in human form, as in the case of the pointy-capped example now on display at the Boğazkây Museum.

Given the artifact’s unique craftsmanship and state of preservation, which Γ‡algan called β€œone of the best examples of its kind,” the figurine represents more than merely a decorative objectβ€”it offers modern researchers a tangible connection to the ritual traditions and symbolic beliefs that shaped life in the Hittite Empire during the Late Bronze Age.

The Secret World of the Storm Gods

While the recent unveiling ceremony marks the artifact’s official public debut at the museum, archaeologists and art historians have already had an opportunity to examine the unique discovery, of which images were displayed as part of an international Hittite exhibition in South Korea, and later presented during the 8th Γ‡orum Excavation and Research Symposium.

Officials at the BoğazkΓΆy Museum and regional authorities on the country’s antiquities say they hope the exhibition will help to further deepen the public’s interest in the rich archaeology and cultural heritage of the region. Significantly, Γ‡orum Province is also home to nearby Hattusa, the ancient Hittite capital now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The young storm god now adds another example of the region’s ancient historical significance in terms of archaeological tourism in the region.

With the figurine’s discovery, we are reminded that often the smallest artifacts can have great significance and offer an unprecedented view of past human achievement. In this case, the young storm god tells a story of advanced metalworking and technological innovation, as well as artistic mastery and religious devotion in one of the ancient world’s most influential civilizations.

Understanding Jesus | The Fulfillment of All God’s Promises and All Old Testament Prophecies

25 July 2026 at 00:29
The modern Evangelical Church has shifted its focus from Jesus Christ to political and socio-religious affiliations, influenced by John Nelson Darby's spurious interpretations. All Old Testament prophecies point to Jesus as the Messiah, not to contemporary apostate Israel and Talmudic Judaism. The essence of true devotion lies in acknowledging Christ and Him alone.

Wisdom of the Wise is Foolishness with God

13 July 2026 at 01:26
The mystery of life's origin on Earth remains unsolved. With modern biochemistry tools scientists are no closer to synthesizing life from non-living chemicals despite advanced knowledge and technology, let alone understanding how it could have arisen abiogenetically. The rejection of the Creator has led to foolishness in the wise.

Only One Chosen Race In Christ

29 May 2026 at 03:53
The Apostle Paul emphasizes that salvation is based on faith in Jesus Christ, not ethnicity or lineage. Only a remnant of Israel will be saved, as true identity comes from spiritual connection rather than genetic heritage. Believers, regardless of their origins, form the true Israel, unified in Christ’s grace.

The rapid growth of data centers and the pursuit of artificial general intelligence (AGI) by global elites is driven by the desire to create man’s own god, using a massive assemblage of Silicon chips. But the creation of true intelligence requires an infinite knowledge base, which humans cannot create.

14 April 2026 at 02:32
President Donald Trump portrayed himself on his own Truth Social platform as Jesus Christ, but as both a warmonger and a healer of the sick. In reality he is antichrist. Perhaps he was possessed of Lucifer on March 19th as expected by some Jewish rabbis as their Messiah.

Scofield Study Bible | A Zionist Funded Project to Subvert the True Gospel of Jesus Christ

6 January 2026 at 04:04
The Scofield Reference Bible, published in 1909, aimed to garner support from American Evangelicals for the Zionist state of Israel, emphasizing a dispensationalist view that separates Jewish and Christian covenants. This interpretive system has significantly influenced modern Christian thought, often at the expense of the core message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dispensational Zionism is to the Gospel What Kryptonite is to Superman

3 January 2026 at 09:48
Dispensational Christian-Zionism promotes the notion that Jews are intrinsically the special people of God, sidelining their need for Christ in salvation. That theology nullifies any preaching of the gospel. It silences the true gospel. All people, including the Jews, must seek salvation through faith in Christ alone.

Jesus of Palestine | What’s in a Name?

29 December 2025 at 00:50
JD Hall discusses the name of Jesus, asserting that He was named Ἰησοῦς in Greek, not Yeshua in Hebrew. The Gospel of Matthew records His name in Greek, supporting the idea that He was known by this name in a multilingual first-century Palestine.

Christian-Zionism is a Distortion of the True Gospel

27 December 2025 at 22:47
Modern Christian-Zionism is a distortion of the true gospel. Its proponents are the Judaizers of our time. Salvation is solely through faith in Christ alone. To subordinate the cross to an antichrist earthly political project is equivalent to the works of the flesh required by the Judaizers in Paul's time.

The Chasm Between the Christian and Jewish Faiths

11 December 2025 at 22:50
Some say that the Christian faith is the continuation of Judaism. But the divide between the two faiths is as a chasm so wide that you can't see the other side. Religious Jews do not even worship the same God as Christ's followers do.

Anti-Christ Christian-Zionist Jack Hibbs | Your Salvation Depends on the State of Israel

10 December 2025 at 21:40
Jack Hibbs, an anti-Christ Christian Zionist, claims Christian salvation hinges on God's covenant with Israel. This assertion contradicts the gospel of Jesus Christ, which emphasizes salvation through His blood alone, not through support for Israel. True believers should focus on Christ, as the New Covenant replaces any Old Covenant with Israel.
