Just days after TP-Link, Asus has announced its own Wi-Fi 8 router.

Besides showing the weather, it can also sync with your calendar and control smart home devices—if you have a SwitchBot Matter hub, that is.

With a retractable USB-C cable and built-in AC outlet plug, it’s a fully self-contained affair.

The company plans to launch its first router with the new standard in October.
