I'm just curious if any other iMac users, running macOS 15.7.9 Sequoia, are having trouble with a recently released macOS 15.7.9 anmd SuperDuper 4 NOT creating a bootable clone.

Both software updates were recently installed and have been reinstalled, but I cannot get SuperDuper! 4 to create a proper clone.

I switched back to SuperDuper 3, it created a nice new bootable clone just as it always has.

So I have 2 laptops: An Air for work and a Pro for home. I set up I-cloud to maintain the same files on each device. When I enter data, or do an edit on one, it updates instantly on the other. I have a trail camera and it records in .avi, which will not play in iMovies or Quicktime, a quick search of the forum does not come up with anything after 2013. I have downloaded Elmedia Video Player, which works, but was wondering what other forum users use.

I recently discovered endnotes in Pages and am getting carried away with them in the document i am working on.

Just discovered something very handy. When i am reviewing a document and i come to an endnote, i double click on the endnote and the document jumps down so i can see the endnote. Saves a ton of scrolling time.
Endnotes BTW put the note at the end of the document.

Hi, I would like to know if I want to download video and audio free online, is the use of homebrew and yt-dlp an appropriate and safe way?

I was expecting an email, and when it didn't appear in my Inbox, I naturally looked in the Junk folder. To my surprise, nothing has been put there for nearly 2 months, and the few messages that are there are really things that I manually put in Trash! What happened to my Junk folder?

I'm thinking about getting some SSDs & setting up a RAID1. A RAID1 with a hot spare would be extra nice to have. It's easy to do with Disk Utility. I have a 2023 mini with a M2 CPU. I'm limited to 2 USB-A & 2 USB-C. Do I need a NAS? I think that I use a Thunderbolt port, correct? I reckon that I need some kind of device to place the SSDs, correct? I've been thinking about getting a USB dock.

I updated the OS yesterday to Tahoe 26.5.2.

Today, I noticed that the 1Password app icon in the Dock has been replaced by an opaque "?", and that the app no longer shows in Finder > Application (although the Safari extension app is still there). In Safari, the 1Password extension is still there and still works! Also, everything is fine with 1Password on my iPhone and iPad.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Every day I get an email from usps.com (telling me what mail is coming) and it ends up in my Junk folder. I have tried marking that e mail “Not Junk” and making a rule that email from usps.com be placed in the Inbox without success. Suggestions?



My real junk mail (Your cloud storage is expiring give me your credit card info etc) ends up in the junk folder as it should
