This morning I come to check on my TM progress (daily BU), which will only run when the machine is "awake", and found the status was 2 days (screenshot), normally less than 30 minutes. So I opted for skip BU, and then manually re-started the BU, which was then completed in 10 minutes!!

Thoughts, or just a one-off.

I have several docs I saved in Pages. When I went to open a few none of them were there. I tried to open them while in Pages.
Any suggestions appreciated. Perhaps I can re-install them while in Time Machine but I'll need help doing that. Thank you.

Hello. Happend yesterday.

Went to download something from Itunes store (using high sierra), and got an error message saying that it either couldn't download the music, or there was a problem in the Itunes Store, pleas try again later (or some variant of it). Can't even seem to log in, because when I sucessfully enter my information i don't get an error, but in the drop down menu the sign in option isn't greyed out, as if I never sucessfully signed into the account.

Where does Apple Mail get the passwords that it uses to check for mail? And how can you find out what the passwords are

I have 3 gmail.com accounts (don’t ask) and one verizon.net accounts. If I look in Chrome or at Google I find 3 passwords for one of the gmail.com accounts, none for the other 2 gmail.com accounts and 4 for the Verizon.net account.

Desktop or laptop - same problem. signal breakup/disconect.. Originally assumed desktop being faulty. So, I started using my laptop to prove the point. No joy! Issue realized on both. Changed provider from Verizon Fios to T-mobile 5G cellular. Used hardwire andWifi on desktop and wifi with Tmobile 5G. No change. Perplexing to say the least! Especially after changing provider. Just had surgery to remove a cancerous prostate and sitting here (ouch) updating some personal agendas. One is my email service. Opening the file in vi only shows some kind of header data. The actual file contents are somewhere else and possibly uneditable in vi. I need to access the data to edit in vi, use grep or apply other Unix tools.

I accidentally deleted a Calendar and can't figure out how I can retrieve it, if at all. I am on a Macbook Air running 10.9.5 and Calendar 7.0. I have an external disk that runs Time Machine. I tried looking in Time Machine but I don't know where the files are stored there, what they are called, or the steps needed to restore the calendar to may laptop. I would appreciate any help. I'm just curious if any other iMac users, running macOS 15.7.9 Sequoia, are having trouble with a recently released macOS 15.7.9 anmd SuperDuper 4 NOT creating a bootable clone.

Both software updates were recently installed and have been reinstalled, but I cannot get SuperDuper! 4 to create a proper clone.

I switched back to SuperDuper 3, it created a nice new bootable clone just as it always has.

So I have 2 laptops: An Air for work and a Pro for home. I set up I-cloud to maintain the same files on each device. When I enter data, or do an edit on one, it updates instantly on the other.
